Prices for holidays to Spain and Greece this
summer have dropped by as much as 20% due to
slow demand for these destinations earlier
in the year. There are now some unbelievable
last minute deals available this summer,

low cost holiday experts. There has been a
20% increase in the number of holidaymakers
searching for trips to Spain compared to the
same time last year and bookings to Spain
are up 28% year on year.
Commenting on Spain's late fight back, CEO
Paul Evans said:

plenty of holidays left in Spain for the
summer, meaning holidaymakers can really
pick up an incredible deal. Hoteliers in
Spain were initially reluctant to reduce
their prices but now have rooms to fill.

some strong deals to be had for packages to
Greece:
"It's been all about Turkey up to now but
at last Greek hoteliers are coming up with
some very attractive deals to attempt to
lure the Brits away from Turkey and back to
Greece. The demise of XL left a hole in the
market, in particular in Greece which was
one of its main destinations. This gap is
now being filled by low cost carriers and
other charter airlines leading to a decrease
in flight prices to Greece as these
companies try to sell off empty seats for
the summer. Overall we are seeing prices to
Greece fall by about 15% and bookings to
Greece were up 15% month on month with Crete
and Rhodes the top choices."
